Over the past couple of weeks, the subject of elementals has come up repeatedly. They are not something I know a huge amount about (mainly through lack of exposure, and frankly, relevance) and my long standing fascination with, and love of fairy tales, hardly qualifies me as an expert. True, I did encounter one once, and it was an experience I look back upon with a certain awe and fascination. But although they do sometimes get mentioned in response to questions asked during channeling sessions, they're not exactly mainstream for me.
However, there must be a reason for the frequency with which they have been cropping up, so here are some brief details about them that I thought were worth sharing:
And when we do not…
NB. The beautiful sculpture in the header photo was created by Robin Wight of Fantasy Wire. He creates fabulous effigies of elementals, and if you look at his site (http://www.fantasywire.co.uk/about-us/) you will even find a photo of an elemental. However, it is most definitely not, as you might imagine, of a fairy...
However, there must be a reason for the frequency with which they have been cropping up, so here are some brief details about them that I thought were worth sharing:
- Elementals share the same time/space with us. They can see us and we used to be able to see them. However, they can control their vibration and alter its frequency so that they become invisible to us, unless they choose to make it otherwise.
- Varieties of elemental lifeforms are as numerous as nationalities of human being. All of those that you have heard of such as fairies, gnomes, pixies, goblins, trolls, elves, leprechauns etc do actually exist; plus countless others that you will never have heard of.
- Some descriptions of them (the terms 'sprite' or ‘nymph’ for instance) are generic and refer to a particular category of elemental, which may encompass several sub-species.
- Elementals are not just tiny, as we may perceive them to be. Many are of considerable size (even borderline colossal) and would be quite scary if we were to be able to see them.
- The agenda for an elemental's lifetime is very different from a human's. Whilst they are on an Ascension pathway, the stages of progression are markedly different from our own. Their communications, thought processes and intentions bear precious little resemblance to our own.
- Elementals may elect to experience human lifetimes, and vice versa, in much the same way that we may also experience 'alien' lifetimes. However, being human is not an enormously popular experience for them and thus, humans who are in their origins actually elemental in nature, are relatively rare. (Nonetheless, I have come across several and they are often attracted to channeling as a means of discovering what they are.)
- Most elementals are almost wholly benign and naturally non-confrontational; although they can become adversarial and even vindictive when provoked.
- Different types of elemental live in different habitats. The majority abhor man-made conurbations and dwell only in natural environments. However, some 'house elementals' or 'spirits' are content to occupy human homes.
- Some elementals get seen by accident and are totally misinterpreted in what they are. Big Foot, the Yeti and Sasquatch are all varieties of the same elemental species.
- Orbs that appear in photographs and are often touted as 'the souls of our dearly departed' are actually elementals. They are particularly attracted to the sudden light of a camera’s flash, hence their frequent appearance on images using flash photography.
- Broadly speaking, elementals may be classified by their preferred habitats, which would include woodland, meadow, garden and water elementals. (Note that this list is by no means inclusive.) There are 'crossovers' - elementals that occupy more than one type of habitat.
- Elementals are responsible for crop circles, not aliens. The more sophisticated the patterns become, the more there is evidence of the desperation of the elementals in a particular place to make humans aware of the follies of their actions and alert them to the fact that we share this earth.
- [NB. It may be noted that crop circles in the UK are infinitely more sophisticated than the very basic ones that occasionally appear in Canada. There is a lengthy, complex and sobering explanation for this phenomenon]
- Many elementals have an attraction to other specific lifeforms and exist synergistically with them. Trees and flowers are the most obvious examples, but others such as fungi, leaves, rocks, water and animals all have their followers. And yes, I wrote water intentionally. It is a sentient lifeform, as are all the elements. And yes, there are fire elementals.
- ‘Senior’ elementals, that may be thought of as the equivalent of elders, are referred to as 'devas'. This is not the same as divas, although in some respects they can be similar!
- Elemental lifespans can be as brief as a butterfly's or as long as the most ancient of trees.
- Some elementals are so closely associated with other lifeforms that they think of themselves as being part of them. Most notably, this occurs with trees and the types that live in/on/around them.
- Generally, whatever lifeforms they are attracted to, elementals are fiercely protective of them.
- Because we exist in the same time/space, human (and animal) activities often impinge upon those of elementals, wrecking their habitat, destroying what they deem to be of value, and often killing them.
- Elementals find human actions largely incomprehensible and they can become immensely distressed by them. They experience a full range of emotions from agonising grief through to incandescent fury.
- For numerous reasons, but principally because of lack of consideration, humans are not generally popular with elementals.
- Much of our perception regarding elementals stems from folk tales which often relate instances of spite and elementals seeking to get the better of humans. Such portrayals do contain elements of truth, but seldom relate the fact that any such behaviours on their part are not in response to the fictional events of the tale, but to human attempts to dominate them or their chosen habitats.
- Animosity between humans and elementals was not always the status quo. We were once fully cognoscent of their existence and lived peacefully and respectfully alongside them..
- At a time when our relationship with elementals was more harmonious, our co-existence with them was something that could be highly beneficial for us. Only when humanity decided to impose our supremacy over all things did they (apparently) cease to exist and become the stuff of legend.
- Most species of elemental do not understand human language, although some (notably leprechauns) do. Leprechauns were one of the last species of elemental to break off contact with humans.
- Many pagan rites and rituals stem from a well informed knowledge of the elemental world. These practices (at least in their origins) are often geared towards mollifying or making some form of restitution towards the beings we share our space with.
- Currently practiced pagan activities that are often frowned upon by mainstream thinking as being tantamount to witchcraft, or are assumed to be evil, in fact do contemporary society a service in assisting our relationships with elementals, albeit in a limited way.
- Elementals exist all around us and are an inescapable part of our day to day lives, whether we are aware of them or not. When we cause harm to their existence, they are often quite vengeful in their response. It is not a good idea to knowingly upset them.
- When upset or riled, elementals may easily create damaging vibrational anomalies that affect humans (or animals) in more ways than we may imagine. Some types are infinitely more vindictive than others.
- If humans are aware that their actions have unsettled elementals in any way, they should do everything possible to make reparations to them.
- Restoring good elemental/human relations is most usually achieved by doing things that please them. This in turn depends upon what type of elemental has been offended and how grievous is the nature of the offence.
- Most elementals are curious beings and quite easily distracted. They take pleasure in physical phenomena such as light, sound, colour and movement.
- The (harmless) juxtapositioning of natural and man made objects is often fascinating for them if aesthetically pleasing.
- Elementals invariably have a sense of humour and enjoy being amused. Representations of natural beings (statuary etc) are often pleasing to them, particularly if they are deemed to be funny.
- Facsimiles of elementals are objects of curiosity, but seldom represent the actuality of their being.
- Depending upon the type of elemental, they may find attempts to recreate their likeness to be flattering.
- Many types of elemental, unlike Angels, do have wings.
- Although elementals are higher vibrational beings than humans, they are not necessarily more sophisticated in any way that we might define sophistication.
- Elementals do not 'serve' the etheric and are here (along with many other types of sentient lifeform) to have unique, 'discreet' and valuable experiences of incarnate reality. Their presence is no less valid than our own and they are infinitely better at sharing the environment than we are.
- Although they are hedonistic in nature, elementals honour Gaia, whom they regard as a mother figure, and do her no harm whatsoever.
- Gaia regards elementals as totally vibrationally compatible with her. They will ALL go with the ascended version of the planet when the energetic links cease to exist on December 21st 2017.
- We are constantly observed by elementals because of the threat we pose to their environment and wellbeing. As such, they are profoundly interested in our activities and constantly assessing our threat, finding us to be dangerous, or cautiously approving of what we do.
- Elemental comprehension of us extends to recognising when we respect and value their presence.
And when we do not…
